Prof. Khalid Talha Biobaku

Khalid Talha BIOBAKU, is a  Professor in the Department of Veterinary  Pharmacology  and Toxicology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine ,University of Ilorin, and a Fellow College of Veterinary Surgeons of Nigeria (Clinical Pharmacology) his experience in University teaching, research and extension services, and administrative experience spans over sixteen years.

He served as Head of Department, Editor-in-Chief of the Faculty Journal, Veterinary Teaching Hospital Clinic Coordinator/Deputy Director, Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator, Examination   Commissioner among others .

His research interest lies in Stress Pharmacology, Ethnopharmacology, Chemotherapy, Pharmacologic animal transportation welfare and meat, and Cytokines research.

He has over seventy publications in reputable journals, edited  conference proceedings and chapters in books. He had successfully supervised 3 Masters dissertations and is presently supervising two PhD. He has national and institutional research grants to his credit and was honored best lecture for four consecutive times. Prof Biobaku is a member of numerous professional bodies.
