Biography

Prof Ambali obtained the DVM, M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Ahmadu Bello University in 1992, 2004, and 2009, respectively. He has more than 27 years teaching and research experiences in veterinary pharmacology and Toxicology. He is a Professor of Environmental Toxicology and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Management Services, and a member of the Governing Council of the University of Ilorin. He had served the University at the Departmental, Faculty, and University levels. He was the Head of the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology, Sub-Dean, and Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He chaired the Technical Sub-committee of the Appointments and Promotions Committee from 2018-2020. He is a member and fellow of various academic, professional, and sociocultural organizations. He has published over 130 articles in peer review journals and books. He has served as member of various accreditation teams to many universities. He is married and blessed with children.
